This is just sick!
Having won this year’s Oscar for best picture and garnering box office hit, Slumdog Millionaire made millions of dollars just from ticket sales and more from home media as well as other residuals from online sales but look at what happen to these Indian Children? Left in the slums back to the harsh world they knew after gracing the Oscars, they still continue to suffer in poverty.
I wonder if they were paid American standard wages for their performance, which is approximately 1/3 of the actual film. Perhaps they are paid Indian rates just like outsourced workers in call centers and other business process outsourcing firms.
How greedy could Slumdog Millionaire producers be to let these things happen to it’s child stars while they are enjoying the gilts and glamour of Hollywood?
